Finance & Accounting Leadership Accelerator Summer Internship
Transform your education and accounting experience into fast-track career growth. Collaborate with global accounting teams to support meaningful business priorities and help patients prevail over serious diseases.
This is a 10-week summer internship that runs from June-August each year. Upon successful completion of the internship, you may be considered for a position in our full-time Finance & Accounting Leadership Accelerator Program.
This program is designed to pipeline for future leadership. Complete hands-on work while receiving support and incentives for relevant professional certifications such as CPA and CMA
Develop professionally: expand your communication skills, U.S. GAAP technical accounting skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills.
Expand your technical knowledge of accounting and budgeting systems such as SAP, Cadency, Tableau, and Hyperion.
Requirements & eligibility for the Finance & Accounting Leadership Accelerator Summer Internship
- Currently enrolled in an accounting or finance Bachelors or Master’s program with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2027.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Proven capability to effectively communicate within work and/or academic environments with the ability to adapt message to suit various audiences
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred qualifications:
- Interest in pursuing the 3-year, full-time rotational program upon graduation
- Ability and desire to sit for the Uniform CPA examination or CMA examination upon graduation.

Upon successful completion of the internship, you may be considered for a position in our Finance & Accounting Leadership Accelerator Program, a full-time, three-year rotational program designed to prepare future leaders at Bristol Myers Squibb.
